Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Manchester, NH is seeking an energetic Operations / Logistics Manager to lead moving crews and oversee daily operations, coordinating with customers, vendors, and staff to meet goals. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Management, business, or other relevant experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens.
• Must be willing to work Saturdays and one Sunday a month.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example to motivate, develop and direct people.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments.
• Complete various dispatch duties, including performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits.
• Lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation.
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training.
• Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner.
• Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines.
• Responsible for employee development, accountability and corrective action programs.
• Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours.
• All other duties as assigned

What We Offer

• Base Salary: $43,000 + 0.5% commission structure tied to franchise revenue

What You'll Do

Who We're Looking For
