Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a growing food manufacturing operation in Mendota, CA. This high-visibility leadership role is ideal for a hands-on production leader with a strong background in food processing, team development, safety, quality, and operational performance.

The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily plant production activities, support cross-functional coordination, and help drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and cost control. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are met.
• Coach, mentor, and develop production employees and team leads while building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, food safety regulations, quality systems, and company policies.
• Monitor production KPIs, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, waste reduction, labor efficiency, and cost control.
• Partner with Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Shipping teams to resolve issues and support smooth plant operations.
• Maintain production reporting, operational documentation, shift communication, and support facility improvement or capital project initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $90,000 annually.
• Job Type: Full-time, direct hire opportunity.
• Location: Mendota, CA.
• Schedule: Full-time.
• Immediate hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in food processing, food manufacturing, protein processing, prepared foods, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience supervising and developing production teams in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety regulations, quality systems, and production standards.
• Experience with production planning, labor management, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting or operational documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, conflict resolution, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, lead under pressure, and maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Food Science, or a related field.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Continuous improvement leadership experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple departments, shifts, or cross-functional production teams.
