Join to apply for the Operations Supervisor role at American Medical Response.

We are hiring an Operations Supervisor responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, equipment maintenance, internal communications, budget management, outside agency interface, and community relations.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise, direct, and develop field staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  2. Maintain quality field operations through daily oversight, communication, and evaluation.
  3. Act as a liaison between the company, patients, public safety agencies, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
  4. Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate team development.
  5. Collaborate with management to resolve staffing and service issues.
  6. Participate in developing and implementing department policies and procedures related to EMS delivery.
  7. Manage staffing levels, shift calendars, and shift bidding processes.
  8. Oversee operation, utilization, and maintenance of medical equipment.
  9. Review patient care reports for accuracy and timeliness.
  10. Investigate incidents and complaints involving units or personnel and resolve appropriately.
  11. Prepare reports and manage projects assigned by management.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  13. Assist in recruiting and training new staff.
  14. Maintain employee training records and certifications for compliance.
  15. Promote affirmative action in staffing, training, and promotion efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
  • State EMT/Paramedic Certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Ambulance Driver’s License.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS Certifications.
  • At least 3 years of EMS field experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.

Hourly Range: $17.25 - $27.60
