Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is seeking an Operations Production Supervisor for the Columbus, OH area. The role leads frontline manufacturing operations in a high-speed beverage environment, focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost while coaching the production team on the floor.

The position is full-time on Third Shift (Mon–Fri, 9:00pm–6:30am) with weekend/holiday scheduling as required. Benefits eligible from day one and a team-centric culture support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing (food & beverage preferred).
  • High-speed production experience.
  • Strong safety, quality, and production knowledge.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe workplace with a safety mindset.
  • Supervise up to 20+ production employees.
  • Hire, schedule and supervise full-time and temporary staff.
  • Follow all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements.
  • Oversee process documentation and training to ensure consistency and safety.
  • Ensure production of a quality product and adherence to quality processes.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities on projects.
  • Track productivity and shift efficiency; drive improvements.
  • Operate within budget using lean methods and cross-training.
  • Oversee inventory control to maintain accuracy.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual reviews for frontline staff.
  • Report food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance as needed.
  • Ensure trained designees are used where applicable.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Operations Production Supervisor - Columbus, OH

The Production Supervisor leads frontline manufacturing operations within a high-speed beverage production environment. This role is responsible for driving results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing and coaching frontline team members. The supervisor maintains a strong presence on the production floor, proactively identifying operational constraints, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production.


Shift and Schedule

This is a full time position on Third Shift Monday – Friday 9:00pm - 6:30am.


Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.


Responsibilities


  • Ensures a safe workplace is maintained and there is a safety mindset in all things we do.

  • Supervise up to 20 or more production employees.

  • Hires, schedules and supervises full-time staff and additional temporary staff.

  • Follows all policies, ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by Keurig Dr Pepper and the department.

  • Oversee all process documentation and training program procedures to assure consistency of operational tasks, and the safety and cleanliness of the workplace

  • Ensures a quality product is being produced and all quality processes are being followed.

  • Works directly with Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities on projects to improve quality, streamline efficiencies and reduce operating expenses

  • Tracks productivity for measured shift efficiency and improvement

  • Operates at or below the budgeted cost for production utilizing lean manufacturing procedures and cross training

  • Oversees adherence to inventory control procedures to ensure inventory accuracy goals are constantly achieved

  • Performs timely quarterly and annual reviews for all front‑line Keurig Dr Pepper staff

  • Responsibility to report food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.

  • Responsible for ensuring the production of a safe, wholesome and quality product and requires trained designees when applicable

  • Performs other duties as requested by management

Total Rewards


  • $70,500 - $90,000

  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements


  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Minimum of 2 years' supervisory level experience in a manufacturing environment - food and beverage industry, preferred

  • High-speed production experience

  • Proven team leadership ability

  • Strong safety, quality, and production knowledge

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, pull and visual systems and clear understanding of TQM and use of tools and data for problem solving, decision making and continuous improvement preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word with demonstrated knowledge of productivity tracking

  • Experience with SAP or similar system preferred
