Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor for Ottumwa. This full-time role on 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 1:00pm - 9:30pm) with weekend/overtime flexibility supports manufacturing excellence on multiple packaging lines.

You will lead a team, coach operators, and drive TPM/Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity while managing labor and operating budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Experience with TPM/Lean/Six Sigma events and driving lean transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coach production operators to execute daily/weekly production schedules across multiple packaging lines.
  • Manage within labor and operating expense budgets while meeting productivity goals.
  • Coordinate beverage packaging to ensure safety, quality and minimal waste.
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure equipment is in good working order and workplace is safe at all times.
  • Drive continuous improvement through teamwork and capability development.

Job description

Production Operations Supervisor – Ottumwa

Shift & Schedule: This is a full-time position on 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled is required.

Position Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Cultural liaison to shop floor team members for TPM methodology and a Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedules for multiple packaging lines.
  • Manage within labor and operating expense budget.
  • Coordinate beverages packaging ensuring safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste.
  • Meet the productivity, quality, safety, health, environmental and morale goals established for the site.
  • Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and record.
  • Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are safe at all times.
  • Review and analyze production records to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Make recommendations for long‑term solutions, including recommendations for replacing equipment, refurbishing equipment, procedural changes, productivity improvement, material change, etc., related to the area of accountability.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda in area of responsibility through teamwork, skills and capability development.

Total Rewards
  • Salary Range: $70,500 - $80,000

  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field highly preferred
  • Previous people management experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Strong facilitation skills and a continuous improvement orientation.
  • Experience facilitating, coaching, and implementing TPM, Lean, Kaizen/Six Sigma events, and driving lean transformation with proven results and implementations in a manufacturing environment (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, visual management, and leading Kaizen events)
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Previous experience with SAP preferred
  • Work flexible shifts, weekends, and overtime according to changing business needs
