Unidine, a leading hospitality food service group and part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Assistant Director of Operations in Rockville, MD to oversee workflow and service excellence.

You will direct staff, ensure safety and sanitation standards, and drive client and guest satisfaction while managing costs. A bachelor’s or associate’s degree and 1–3 years of experience are preferred; strong communication and office software skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an associate’s degree with relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and customer service orientation.
• Excellent stress management, administrative and organizational skills.
• Effective communication with management, guests and team members.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for staff per facility policies.
• Directs safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs and maintains client relations.
• Ensures client and customer satisfaction and cost-effective management.
• Promotes professional growth and development of associates.
• Coordinates tasks of Supervisory and Management teams via regular communication.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
