Job summary

Campbell Oil Company is seeking an Operations Specialist in Delco, NC to provide daily operational support to the Commercial Fuels department, coordinating with Purchasing, Dispatch, Billing, Sales, suppliers, and haulers to ensure loads are sourced, billed, and documented accurately.

You will handle time-sensitive tasks, resolve operational issues, maintain system data, and support cost-saving and business-growth opportunities. A focus on accuracy and proactive problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Prior experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, purchasing, billing, transportation, or administrative support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supplier, terminal, contract, carrier, and pricing information in company systems.
• Ensure pricing feeds and back-office systems are linked to support purchasing decisions and pricing analysis.
• Review split-load fees, detention, rerouting charges, and other accessorial expenses.
• Determine whether charges should be absorbed, billed to the customer, or charged back to a hauler with internal teams.
• Support special projects, operational audits, process documentation, and other department priorities as assigned.
• Independently complete assigned tasks, research discrepancies, communicate with appropriate parties, and follow issues through resolution.
