Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Experience supporting work in an operational, technical, regulated, or compliance-driven environment.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge coordinating activities, schedules, assessments, or action tracking across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience participating in or supporting facility walkdowns, workplace observations, assessments, or similar field-based activities.
  • Ability to understand and apply organizational policies, procedures, and institutional requirements.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer-service skills and ability to build productive relationships across organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The role involves regular collaboration with facility personnel, participation in facility and area walkdowns, support for assessments, and coordination of readiness activities with operational and programmatic customers.



The specialist also develops and maintains documentation that supports operational readiness, clear communication, and effective execution.



You will support facilities that include nuclear and tritium operations at the Weapons Engineering Tritium Facility.

Education and Licensure

Associate's Degree and 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation (Required)

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer-service skills, including the ability to build productive working relationships across different organizations and levels of responsibility.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly to different audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical or operational information and convert it into clear, accurate, and usable work products.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)

  • Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (required)
