AdaptHealth is seeking an Operations Specialist (Customer Service Representative) to support patient care and drive operational excellence across our network. This role focuses on workflow improvement, documentation review, and data entry in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relatable work experience required.
• HS diploma or higher; healthcare admin/Business admin equiv. preferred.
• Experience in healthcare/admin/insurance/call center helpful but not required.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support regional operations through workflow improvement and training.
• Review and process documentation including insurance verification and authorizations.
• Navigate EMR systems to enter and validate patient data.
• Analyze workflows to identify errors and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and communicate trends.
• Maintain knowledge of payer guidelines, products, and services for compliance.
• Assist with training materials, onboarding, and cross-functional support.
• Meet quality and performance metrics while managing multiple priorities.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support care and compliance.
• Ensure HIPAA, PPE, and infection control standards are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
