Operations Representative (Full Time) Location: Lincoln, NE
The Operations Representative performs a wide variety of customer service and technical support functions for internal and external customers through telephone, online chat, and face-to-face interactions. This role executes tasks within one or more Operations areas, including Customer and Account Management, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Item Processing, while providing back-office technical support for the Banking division. The position also provides direct support to other designated Operations Representatives and contributes to efficient workflow and service delivery across the Operations structure.
Completes daily tasks within one of the following Operations areas: Customer and Account Management, Electronic Funds Transfer, or Item Processing
Provides superior customer service by responding to incoming telephone calls and written and electronic correspondence from internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner
Resolves routine customer issues regarding a full range of customer transactions and banking products and services
Initiates corrective action within scope of responsibility
Routes complex inquiries to appropriate individuals or departments
Protects the bank's assets and income and maintains the confidentiality of customer information
Adheres to schedule requirements in a structured work environment
Prepares and maintains various records, logs, and reports
Assists with on-the-job training of new associates
Completes written procedures for assigned tasks and updates procedures as necessary
Remains informed of changes in applicable laws, regulations, bank policies, procedures, and products
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of previous banking experience highly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and in working with other financial software
Works effectively with other work groups and individuals
Completes tasks with appropriate attention to detail and demonstrates strong organizational skills
Interacts effectively and professionally with a broad range of people in diverse corporate, economic, and social environments; handles customer interactions requiring tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Maintains focus on a position or plan of action until the desired objective is achieved or is no longer reasonably attainable; overcomes obstacles to accomplish goals
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively through verbal, written, and non-verbal methods
