Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Operations Support Coordinator in Rosharon, TX to assist the Sales and Operations teams, ensuring smooth internal operations and continuous improvement for quality service to customers.

The role collaborates with Regional and Sales Managers to optimize branch efficiency, manage inventory and vendor relations, and coordinate pricing, reporting and special projects. Office hours are typical with some project-driven scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least four years’ industry experience with project leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess strong leadership, communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of market, customer base, products, suppliers and distribution process preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Works with Regional Manager(s), Operations Manager, and Sales Manager to promote branch efficiency and profitability according to the business plan.
• Keeps Regional Operations Manager apprised of concerns affecting branch welfare.
• Develops and maintains highest level of customer satisfaction and resolves operational concerns.
• Coordinates sales and product-marketing activities related to Operations and Inside Sales.
• Ensures pricing and costing accuracy with support from Sales and Purchasing Manager.
• Participates in process meetings to plan strategies and analyze information for efficiency improvements.
• Provides support for special projects and develops project management procedures.
• Identifies and minimizes excess/nonstock/dead stock by vendor returns and redistribution.
• Handles credits, rebills, reporting, and assists AR/AP as needed.
• Oversees inventory flow, layout, and vendor/customer returns; analyzes distribution methods for efficiency.
• Supports corporate policies including EEO and related obligations.
