Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop, define and improve processes in forming and finishing aircraft composite structures.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize scrap, reduce cost, increase capacity and optimize schedule.
• Support manufacturing floor with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving solutions.
• Collaborate with program leadership to assess what-if scenarios for long-term decisions across programs.
• Generate metrics and studies on efficiency, cycle times, WIP, manpower, cost, and delivery.
• Develop recovery plans with manufacturing management to reassure program management and customers.
• Apply systems thinking to improve product flow from raw materials to delivery.
• Develop and summarize analyses for capital assets, equipment, capacity planning, rate tools, and facility layouts.
