Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing or maintenance environment.
• Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 pounds and working at heights.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance; US citizenship required.
• Must complete ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance within a defined period.
• Must be able to work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints.
• Translate blueprints into fabrication of structural assemblies using precision drilling and countersinking.
• Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures.
• Perform part-fitting operations including filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, riveting, drilling and reaming.
• Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
