Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated professional to lead the execution readiness process for clean power plant projects. You will coordinate operations readiness, handover to construction, and collaborate across safety, planning, logistics, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering or business, 4+ years of relevant experience, and a proven track record in project planning, cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation in power projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution readiness process for clean power plant projects.
• Collect and shape operations strategies with the team.
• Ensure readiness and handover to Construction teams.
• Coordinate safety, planning, logistics, material management, quality, construction, and commissioning.
• Maintain weekly execution readiness template with deadlines and progress.
• Update KPI dashboards monthly/weekly on progression and alarms.
• Perform Execution Readiness tasks for Construction until site team identified.
• Coordinate with PMEPC, Nacelles, and Blades GLFs for component readiness.
• Provide offsite support to projects as needed.
• Contribute to other assigned responsibilities.

Job description

• Lead the execution readiness process for clean power plant projects
• Collect, analyze, and shape operations strategies with the team
• Ensure operations readiness and handover to the Construction team for project execution
• Coordinate Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction, and Commissioning departments
• Control and update the weekly project execution readiness template, including deadlines, progress, and deviation alarms
• Control and update the weekly/monthly execution readiness KPIs dashboard
• Perform Execution Readiness tasks assigned to the Construction team until the site team is identified
• Link PMEPC with Nacelles and Blades GLFs to control readiness of main components through the PCT execution readiness round table
• Provide offsite support to projects in execution as needed
• Perform other assigned responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with the full life cycle of power projects and business development
• Proven track record in successful project planning
• Working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
• Knowledge of financial management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
• Full valid driver’s license and insurability under Nordex’s auto insurance policy; subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks
• Strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Ability to properly use applicable safety equipment, including eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats
• Fluent spoken and understood English
