Job summary

Shearwater Systems LLC in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking an Operations/Site/Production Manager to oversee program operations and ensure mission readiness for government customers. The role requires on-site presence, ability to act as Program Manager in absence, and strong analytic and communication skills.

• Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
• Ability to analyze training needs and requirements.

• Ability to present oral briefings to management.
• Proactive in identifying improvements to quality, cost, and process.
• Must pass background checks and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Be present at the office location for in-person government meetings within 2 hours.
• Act as Program Manager in the Program Manager's absence.
• Develop complex statistical analyses, cost estimates, and analytical reports.
• Prepare SOPs and revisions.
• Present oral briefings to government oversight personnel.
• Coordinate project activities with government and contractor staff.
• Respond to government inquiries in a timely manner.
• Identify and implement process improvements to quality and cost.
• Lead in time-sensitive issue resolution.
• Manage training needs analysis.
