Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, OH seeks a Manager, Operations & Production to lead pressroom and plastics operations, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost through world-class manufacturing methods.

You will oversee strategic initiatives, coach managers, and advance continuous improvement across plant functions. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing are required; strong leadership and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles and lean methods preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Experience driving Operational Excellence initiatives in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the department and Operations through effective leadership.
• Lead development and execution of Operational Strategic Initiatives at Clyde Operations, including WCM and Factory Master Plan.
• Provide direction to the team to focus and deliver KPIs.
• Coach and develop future talent and build organizational capability.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives plant-wide.
• Be a proactive Lean/WCM leader and implement enterprise-wide lean.
• Manage all financial aspects of the business.
