Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay, OH is seeking an Engineering Manager, Assembly, Manager, Control Engineering to lead the plant's process and industrial engineering staff. This on-site role drives World Class Manufacturing initiatives, safety, and continuous improvement across assembly operations.

You will develop plans, coach a diverse team, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to deliver capacity improvements and cost efficiencies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science required.
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• 1+ year capital project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, quality, delivery, productivity and engagement in assembly ops.
• Champion World Class Manufacturing initiatives through your team.
• Engage with all 10 WCM pillars to coach strategy and direction.
• Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for productivity/capacity projects.
• Support Operations and Procurement to drive Lean and CI across Supply Chain.
• Coach direct reports to build organizational capability.
