Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Supervisor, Operations Processing & Transactions in Scottsdale, AZ, to lead the Adjustment team within Transfer Agency Operations. You will oversee end-to-end correction processing for intermediated accounts and guide a four-person crew from IC3 to IC5 levels, ensuring timely, accurate adjustments and a culture of accountability.

The role demands strong judgment, attention to detail, and collaborative partnerships across Transfer Agency Operations and Finance partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related experience required.
• Two years of operations processing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
• Prior people leadership experience preferred; leadership potential may be considered.
• Experience in financial services, transfer agency, and transaction processing preferred.
• Ability to review complex operational transactions and make risk-informed decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for adjustment processing and career development.
• Oversee daily adjustment operations to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Review and approve adjustment activity within approved limits and documentation.
• Monitor metrics, goals, quality, and processing standards to identify risks and opportunities.
• Create an engaging team environment with open communication and accountability.
• Partner with peers and business partners across Transfer Agency and Finance Operations.
• Lead through change and support modernization initiatives and tool adoption.
• Contribute to process improvement, testing, and operational readiness for platform enhancements.
• Maintain knowledge of procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
