Job summary

Flow-Control-Group seeks a Commercial Operations Coordinator in Loves Park, IL to manage the day-to-day flow of customer orders, quotes, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and office tasks. You will be the link between customers, vendors, sales, warehouse, and finance to keep orders moving accurately from quote to fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, and comfortable using ERP systems, Excel, and Outlook

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, order management, purchasing, sales support, or related coordination role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately manage quotes, orders, invoices, and records.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a professional approach.
• Ability to manage multiple open items and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate customer quotes, including routine pricing and follow-up.
• Enter customer orders accurately and support backlog management and status updates.
• Coordinate customer onboarding and maintain account information and documentation.
• Process RMAs/returns and related follow-up with customers/vendors.
• Support vendor onboarding and purchasing workflows, including PO issuance and invoicing.
