Rayonier is seeking an Intern to work alongside our manufacturing supervisors and gain hands‑on experience in a wood products manufacturing environment. Responsibilities may include supporting product and process quality, monitoring workflow, communicating with personnel, assisting with inventory management, and developing a basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes. Interns will also assist with special projects and research while job shadowing department supervisors during daily operations, including occasional weekend overtime shifts. Rayonier is seeking sophomore-, junior-, senior-, and graduate‑level students for our Summer 2027 internship. Positions are expected to begin in late May and continue through early August for approximately 10 to 12 weeks.
Interns can accrue overtime and may be eligible for housing assistance. Taxable housing expense allowance payments will be paid in three installments for a total of $3,000.00. Interns are also eligible for a safety boot reimbursement.
