Job summary

Interfor invites you to an Operations Intern position in Fayette, Alabama, offering an on-site summer internship with a May start and a 4–8 month term. You will work with experienced professionals to understand how people, equipment, technology, and processes come together in a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree or diploma in Wood Products Processing, Business, Operations Management, Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Supply Chain, or related program.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment without compromise.
  • Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn how a manufacturing operation works.
  • Clear communicator and able to work with employees across different teams.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
