Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee in Des Moines, IA to lead day-to-day operations of the service and installation department.

You will schedule work, monitor staffing, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and at least two years of personnel management experience, with strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of two years of experience managing personnel
• Strong communication with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Ability to work with technical applications and mechanical systems
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service and installation department
• Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily commitments
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments cost-effectively
• Ensure timely completion of projects, on/under budget, meeting customer satisfaction
• Review monthly financial/operational reports and develop action plans with front-line managers
• Improve performance through regular reviews and coaching of the field staff
• Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
