Education & Experience:
- Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry.
- Bachelor's degree (or extensive industry and management experience); or two years' experience managing at a branch departmental level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and handle several abstract and concrete variables.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Service in Houston, TX.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise superintendents and employees by providing direction, training, and communicating company policies, procedures, and objectives, including hiring, performance management, and discipline.
- Administer the safety program, perform safety audits when necessary, and emphasize safety to all employees.
- Visit job sites and perform quality audits to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure NIM job audits are performed within 15 days of construction and modernization turnovers, identifying issues affecting equipment reliability and providing feedback for improvements.
- Review route management and callbacks using accounting reports and Map Point; make necessary adjustments to improve profitability.
- Provide technical input to sales staff regarding scope of work and materials needed for repair bids, including labor and material cost calculations.
- Enforce Cancellation Reduction Program.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager and sales managers to address customer needs.
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant elevator industry codes and standards.
- Stay updated on company products through training and factory updates, working with regional trainers.
- Manage parts program for contract service and repair to meet budget and customer satisfaction goals.
