What You'll Do as a Field Service Manager:
* Provide leadership and support to supervisors and field service teams
* Foster collaboration between service, sales, and internal departments
* Manage technician performance, productivity, and morale
* Control departmental expenses and drive profitability
* Oversee warranty submissions and maximize recovery opportunities
* Optimize asset and equipment utilization across field service operations
* Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance
* Coach and develop employees for future leadership roles
* Lead special projects to support business objectives
* Perform additional duties to support service excellence
Field Service Manager Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in an industry-related field or 8+ years of industry-related management experience
* Extensive knowledge of service departments and field operations
* Proven experience in people management and team leadership
* Strong ability to foster collaboration and grow a cohesive team
* Familiarity with Caterpillar systems (SIS and DBS preferred)
* Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced service environment
