KAAST Machine Tools Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager (Senior Service & Warehouse Manager) to lead our service and warehouse operations in Aldan, PA. This hands-on role drives efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction across multiple teams.

You will oversee daily operations, manage technicians and staff, coordinate field service and logistics, and develop SOPs to improve performance. Strong leadership, industrial machinery knowledge, and ERP experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, warehouse, or service management in industrial machinery or machine tools.
• Proven leadership experience managing service and/or warehouse teams.
• Knowledge of machine tools, CNC equipment, or industrial manufacturing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics.
• Lead and supervise service technicians and warehouse staff for productivity and quality.
• Coordinate machine tool service scheduling, field service dispatching, and customer support operations.
• Develop and implement procedures, SOPs, and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior leadership.
• Manage parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships for service and warehouse needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer service to support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics
• Lead and supervise service technicians and warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
• Coordinate machine tool service scheduling, field service dispatching, and customer support operations
• Develop and implement operational procedures, SOPs, and best practices to improve efficiency
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, reporting performance to senior leadership
• Manage parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to support service and warehouse needs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to support business goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations, warehouse management, or service management, preferably in industrial machinery or machine tools
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a service and/or warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of machine tools, CNC equipment, or industrial manufacturing equipment preferred
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and logistics coordination
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Helpful technical knowledge would include CNC, PLC, and VFD controls, 3‑phase and servo motors, ballscrews and gearboxes, hydraulic systems, Fanuc controls, and rigging procedures
• Approximately 10% travel required (limited to two annual tradeshows and the most complex installation/service cases).
