Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Jackson, TN, seeks an Operations Manager to lead safety, quality and production at the Jackson site, overseeing four First-Line Supervisors, a Process Specialist and multiple non-exempt employees. You will coordinate maintenance, scheduling, and process improvements to drive optimal output.

This role requires at least five years of manufacturing leadership, with a strong focus on safety culture, cost control, and continuous improvement aligned with IATF 16949 and ISO

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or Business Management preferred.
At least five years of manufacturing experience with supervisory or managerial roles.
Experience in thermoplastic compounding and extrusion is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead safety, quality and production goals for the Jackson site.
Manage four First-Line Supervisors and Logistics resources; coach and develop leaders.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001; drive continuous improvement.
Monitor cost performance and overtime; optimize inventory and production scheduling.
