Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a New-Construction Operations Manager in the Richmond, VA area. The role requires deep knowledge of custom residential construction, experience overseeing multiple homes in production builds, and a servant-leader approach to leading a team of employees, subs and vendors.

The candidate should be from or familiar with the South Richmond area and be ready to drive production, sales processes and team growth while maintaining strong vendor relationships and

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team.
• Review advertising and approve budget.
• Provide weekly updates with Division President.
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, starts, warranty, settlements.
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.
• Inspect jobs when necessary and conduct final reviews.
• Plan reviews; recruit, hire, train, mentor and supervise employees, subs and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and hire subs and suppliers.
• Review overhead costs and general P&L.
• Address customer concerns and communicate resolutions.

A National leader in the custom home building industry, is looking for a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA (Petersburg)

The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of custom residential construction, familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time), hard work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a servant-leader management style.

The candidate will preferable be from/familiar with the South Richmond VA area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.

This company is looking for the right person with “positive energy” and strong leadership abilities that will constantly be driving the Production & Sales processes as well as growing the team.

Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the branch operations, sales & production for our office clientele & staff.

Overview of Priorities:

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etc
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.

• Job inspection when necessary
• Final Review meetings
• Plan reviews
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Networking expertise
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns & Communicate Resolutions
