Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead a banking center, drive sales plans, coach staff, and ensure operational soundness. The role emphasizes developing relationships, outside business calling, and cross-selling deposit and loan products.

You will oversee customer service standards and staff development while maintaining compliance and delivering strong performance in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of sales, management, banking, or related experience including supervisory capacity.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required by employment through NMLS; meet qualification within three months of hire.
• Notary Public designation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and compliance of the banking center.
• Develop and implement aggressive sales and marketing strategy.
• Open accounts and process loan applications for consumers and businesses.
• Coach staff through sales and service behaviors to grow share of wallet.
• Lead weekly sales and pipeline meetings and daily huddles.
• Provide leadership to bank staff and partner with customers to drive growth.
