Zusammenfassung

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager – POD Leader for the Emergency Call Handling and CAD, anchoring daily workflow across procurement, warehouse, and transport teams in the Greater Chicago area.

You will drive inventory strategies, SOPs, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management to optimize performance and meet SLAs. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in supply chain, with 2+ years in supervision, are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive supply chain or logistics experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations across procurement, warehouse management, and transportation systems.
• Develop and execute inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, 3PL providers, and freight carriers to ensure SLA compliance.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics and conduct quality/delivery audits.
• Partner with sales and finance to analyze demand trends and maintain accurate S&OP forecasts.
• Track KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, cycle time, and freight cost per unit.
• Leverage ERP/WMS data to identify bottlenecks and drive lean improvements.
