Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Salt Lake City seeks an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to bridge headquarters supply chain with on-site production. You will ensure material flow, optimize labor, and oversee outbound logistics to meet customer needs.

This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain, with a focus on safety, cost, and on-time shipments. Onsite work and travel to training are specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of manufacturing and/or electronics experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize production schedules with headquarters supply chain to align demand and inventory.
• Direct end-to-end flow of raw materials into the facility, minimizing downtime.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics and warehouse teams to streamline movement of goods.
• Develop and execute labor models and staffing schedules to meet production targets.
• Coordinate daily/weekly production floor activities to meet monthly shipment targets.
• Drive continuous improvement with QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
