Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Experience in category management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience communicating with executive teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in Supply Assurance reviews with Category Managers and Executive teams.
• Leads without direct control, but through influence and respect.
• Diagnosis supply systematic failures and constructs solutions across the organization.
• Creates linkage from shortage root cause and corrective action to long term preventive actions.
• Understands key supply commodities and how ERP systems influence supplier performance.
• Drives gating items to resolution with Purchasing, Category Teams, Suppliers, Engineering, and Exec teams.
• Looks at options like distribution, alternative suppliers, and expedited freight to resolve issues.
• Communicates long-term supply concerns and drives solutions.
