Job summary

USPack is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee transportation services for assigned customers, coordinating Independent Contractors to move products from client locations to designated sites. The role focuses on meeting client needs, contracting drivers, and ensuring service quality.

The position emphasizes partnership with ICs, driving route efficiency, and maintaining performance metrics while staying compliant with SOPs. Local travel and full-time hours are typical.

Qualifications

• College Degree with some experience or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients regularly to build relationships and complete visit documentation.
• Review on-time delivery, piece and location scans.
• Coordinate and resolve service issues via incident reports (DIRs).
• Plan route coverage and communicate with independent contractors (ICs).
• Negotiate with ICs on contracted services and settlements.
• Travel to customer locations up to 50% and ensure timely service.
