Job summary

Western Coating, part of Farwest Steel, is seeking an Operations Manager I for the Ogden, Utah location. You will lead safety and operations for warehouse activities, manage inventory, and oversee machinery maintenance to ensure efficient production.

The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to drive Lean improvements while coordinating with sales, transport, and fabrication teams. Onsite full-time position with day-shift hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising manufacturing teams and coordinating production activities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and operations across warehouse, inventory, and machinery maintenance.
• Oversee raw material receiving, warehousing, and delivery logistics.
• Coordinate with sales to balance production and fulfillment.
• Develop and coach production staff; apply Lean continuous improvement.
