Job summary

Western Coating in Ogden is seeking an Operations Manager I to lead safety and the overall operation of warehouse activities, inventory management and machinery maintenance. You will oversee raw material receiving, warehousing, and delivery, while coordinating logistics and collaborating with Sales to keep production efficient.

A high school diploma and supervisory experience are required. Preferred knowledge includes rebar fabrication and powder coating equipment, MS Office and production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and operation of all warehouse activities and machinery.
• Oversee inventory management and material handling.
• Coordinate logistics including company tractors, trailers, and third-party haulage.
• Collaborate with Sales to achieve efficient production levels.
• Train, develop and coach production employees.
• Apply Lean principles for continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe work practices inside production premises.
