Job summary

Archway is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Illinois to oversee all facility operations, including Receiving, Production, Shipping, and Inventory Control. You will drive cost efficiency, scheduling, and continuous improvement while coaching Supervisors and staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive supervisory experience, and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in operations, warehouse, distribution, or similar.
• 4+ years manufacturing/warehouse supervision.
• Proven supervisory and leadership experience with coaching and process improvement.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations including Receiving, Production, Shipping, and Inventory.
• Lead cost-control, planning, scheduling, and evaluation to improve processes.
• Coach Supervisors and staff; manage budgeting and cost controls.
• Plan labor and scheduling to meet plant goals and safety standards.
• Direct workflow to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Project management for new client integrations and improvements.
• Train staff and drive continuous improvement; work with Inventory Control.
• Collaborate with Client Services to meet service objectives.
• Prepare regular reporting for Archway management; analyze performance.
• Partner with Industrial Engineer on costing, workflows, and scheduling.
