Amazon West Columbia seeks an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff, driving safety, quality, and delivery performance. You will base decisions on data and collaborate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

The role involves mentoring, managing productivity plans, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time at a facility environment with variable conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Experience leading large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
