Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily branch operations, improve efficiency, and coordinate equipment and personnel. This role interacts with Sales and support staff to meet customer expectations and drive safety and performance across the site.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial cleaning with management experience, strong scheduling abilities, and a proven track record of safety compliance and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in chemistry, biology, or environmental science preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial cleaning experience, with at least 2 in a management capacity.
• Experience using standard/specialized industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to schedule equipment and personnel efficiently for daily maintenance and projects.
• Proven ability to resolve customer and employee complaints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waste management services at a customer site or group of locations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Manage and coordinate Health and Safety oversight of onsite personnel supporting customer programs.
• Maximize utilization of equipment and manpower to support productivity, service quality, and profitability.
• Develop, monitor, and measure KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost control.
• Guide development of onsite personnel through coaching, training, and mentoring; support succession planning and talent growth.
