Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3-4 years of supervisory experience or Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record per JB Hunt standards
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends

Responsabilités

• Promote, manage, and maintain a positive work environment to improve efficiency and driver retention
• Forecast freight volumes and power/equipment needs; adjust capacity for seamless coverage
• Train on and audit processes; identify and implement improvements
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues
• Manage fleet operations including driver coverage, safety, compliance, and performance metrics
• Analyze and present budget performance and design vs actual data for customers
• Compile reports on operational, financial, and service metrics
• Ensure fleet safety training and address safety needs for fleets/drivers
• Facilitate employee training and development to retain staff
• Serve as initial contact with customers to ensure service quality and profitability
• Contribute input for annual budget and provide feedback on updates
