The role focuses on staff supervision, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient fleet coverage and profitable operation. Responsibilities include planning for freight volumes, training staff, and reporting on KPIs while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a diploma with 3–4 years of supervisory experience or a bachelor’s with 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR as per company standards.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel to account, customer, and company event locations when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to improve operational efficiency, engage employees, and retain drivers.
• Forecast freight volumes and equipment needs; adjust capacity to ensure coverage.
• Train, audit, and optimize day-to-day processes and procedures for operations.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues throughout the day, including on-call periods.
• Oversee fleet operations including driver board, safety, compliance, and performance measures.
• Analyze financial performance and prepare periodic reviews and budget variance analyses.
