Job summary

Floor Coverings International Hill Country is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our Hill Country operation. You will manage customer relationships, coordinate scheduling and logistics, drive local marketing, and ensure our financials stay accurate.

Your work enhances lead generation, proposal conversions, and on-time job completion. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience with strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker who works independently.
• Available M-F 9am-7pm + Sa 9am-1pm minimum; flexibility for evenings/weekends when scheduling jobs.
• 1-3 years relevant experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads to appointments, manage customer expectations, and provide exceptional service.
• Coordinate with sales, installers, and customers to schedule jobs efficiently; order materials and track delivery.
• Build referral networks and attend local events to support marketing initiatives.
• Complete job costing forms and update job status to track proposal-to-completion metrics.
