Job summary

Floor Coverings International Hill Country is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Hill Country operation, manage customer relationships, coordinate scheduling and logistics, and drive growth through local marketing and financial oversight. You will work with sales, installers, and customers to optimize jobs, track leads, handle pricing, and ensure on-time completion.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and flexibility with schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker who works independently.
• 1-3 years relevant experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads to appointments, manage customer expectations, and provide exceptional service that builds loyalty and referrals.
• Coordinate with sales, installers, and customers to schedule jobs efficiently. Order materials, track delivery, and update our internal platform daily.
• Build referral networks (realtors, property managers), attend and host local events (home shows, Lunch & Learns), and support marketing initiatives.
• Complete job costing forms and update job status in our platform to track proposal-to-completion metrics.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you'll be the backbone of our Hill Country operation. You'll manage customer relationships, coordinate scheduling and logistics, drive local marketing, and ensure our financials stay clean. Your work directly impacts lead generation, proposal conversion, and job completion—which means real growth for you and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer & Sales Support: Convert leads to appointments, manage customer expectations, and provide exceptional service that builds loyalty and referrals.
• Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate with sales, installers, and customers to schedule jobs efficiently. Order materials, track delivery, and update our internal platform daily.
• Marketing: Build referral networks (realtors, property managers), attend and host local events (home shows, Lunch & Learns), and support marketing initiatives.
• Financials: Complete job costing forms and update job status in our platform to track proposal-to-completion metrics.

• Available M-F 9am-7pm + Sa 9am-1pm minimum; flexibility for evenings/weekends when scheduling jobs
