Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Operations Manager for Buildings and Property to oversee general and preventive maintenance across the main office sites in Ohio. You will ensure facilities, equipment and vehicles are safe, compliant, and well maintained, while managing maintenance staff and coordinating with leadership on budgets and major projects.

Responsibilities include leading preventive maintenance programs, supervising the maintenance team, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of general maintenance experience.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to drive a personal vehicle.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently.
• Displays knowledge of safety and building maintenance regulations including local, state and federal.

Responsibilities

• Creates and implements preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversees preventive maintenance inspections of sites, vehicles and equipment; ensures deficiencies are corrected.
• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates maintenance staff.
• Develops annual major project plans and budgets with senior leadership.
• Maintains vendor relationships and oversees contract performance and quality.
• Ensures compliance with building, safety, fire codes and life safety regulations.
