Job summary

Via is seeking an Operations Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Projects, to lead daily onsite operations, optimize WAV accessibility, and support AV/WAV fleets.

Based in the DFW area, you will travel monthly to services across the United States, onboard drivers, train WAV safety, and collaborate with disability advocates and transit partners to raise accessibility standards.

Final salary depends on experience; range is $65,000–$80,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with paratransit, Non-emergency Medical Transport, or WAV fleets is a strong plus.
• Based in the DFW area; onsite several days a week with travel to US services.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations of the service to provide safe, reliable, and accessible transportation.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet availability, WAV compliance, and rider needs to maintain service quality.
• Translate rider and community feedback into operational improvements to reduce accessibility friction.
• Use data to analyze ridership trends and fleet utilization to improve efficiency.
• Act as the bridge between local partners, safety drivers, third-party operators, and Via central teams.
• Coordinate with Via AV partners and local operators to meet service goals and resolve issues as they arise.
• Travel to key markets to lead driver onboarding and WAV safety training, and engage disability advocates and transit partners.
