Via is seeking an Operations Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Projects in the NYC area to lead daily onsite operations for accessible transit services. You will manage WAV fleets, coordinate with AV partners, and drive improvements from rider feedback while traveling to other markets as needed.

The role combines hands-on leadership, data-driven decision-making, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, reliable, and equitable mobility for riders with accessibility needs.

Qualifikationen

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.
• Experience with paratransit, Non-emergency Medical Transport, or WAV fleets is a strong plus.

Aufgaben

• Run the daily onsite operations of our service, ensuring fleets provide safe, reliable, and fully accessible transportation.
• Make real-time decisions regarding fleet availability, WAV compliance, rider accessibility needs, and unexpected issues to maintain service quality.
• Turn rider, mobility-advocate, and community feedback into tangible operational improvements and collaborations to enhance WAV rider experience.
• Use data to analyze ridership trends, service performance, and fleet utilization; lead solutions to maximize efficiency and rider independence.
• Act as the operational bridge between local partners, safety drivers, third-party operators, and Via central teams to elevate accessibility standards.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for Via’s AV partners and local operators, ensuring proactive communication to meet service goals.
• Travel to key markets to lead driver onboarding and WAV safety/securement training and engage with disability advocates and transit partners.
