Job summary

Via seeks an Operations Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Projects, to lead daily onsite operations and support WAV fleets for accessible transit services. You will manage driver onboarding, collaboration with partners, and ensure safe, reliable mobility for riders with disabilities.

The role requires travel to key markets and hands-on leadership in field operations, with a focus on accessibility compliance and continuous service improvements. Based in the DFW area with onsite expectations.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work; WAV fleets experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily onsite operations to ensure fleets operate safely, reliably, and accessibly.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet availability and rider accessibility needs, addressing issues quickly.
• Translate rider and community feedback into actionable operational improvements for WAV rider experience.
• Use data to analyze ridership trends and service performance to maximize efficiency and independence.
• Bridge local partners, safety drivers, third-party operators, and Via central teams to raise mobility standards.
