Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Dallas/Fortworth, TX. This role oversees daily branch operations, including equipment availability, scheduling, dispatching, and coordination with service and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup. The Operations Manager monitors fleet performance, implements process improvements, and ensures adherence to safety, maintenance, and quality standards. This role also manages local staff, supports training and development, and collaborates with sales and customer service teams to maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager tracks key operational metrics, manages budgets and inventory, and contributes to strategic planning for growth in the Dallas/Fortworth market.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership skills, including experience managing daily workflows, resource allocation, and process optimization in an equipment, construction, or industrial environment.
• Team management and people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, schedule, and develop staff while fostering a safe, inclusive, and high‑performance work culture.
• Customer service and relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with clients, resolve issues promptly, and support long‑term partnerships.
• Logistics and fleet coordination skills, such as managing dispatch, delivery timelines, equipment returns, and maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and utilization.
• Analytical and organizational skills, including comfort with operational KPIs, inventory tracking, budgeting, and using software tools or ERP systems to manage operations.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance best practices related to heavy equipment and industrial operations.
• Relevant experience in equipment rental, construction, transportation, or a related industry; prior experience in an operations or branch management role is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dallas/Fortworth, TX, including occasional overtime as needed to support business demands.
