• Improve operational processes, workflows, and cross-departmental communication.
• Partner with leadership, Sales, and Estimating to support project execution and growth.
• Participate in hiring and developing future Foremen and Project Managers.

Position: Senior Project Manager/Operations Manager– Commercial Roofing & Construction

Location: College Station, TX

Salary: $115,000K - $120,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Full Benefits

Position Overview

Tiello is partnering with a growing commercial roofing contractor to hire an experienced Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an established commercial roofing professional or Senior Project Manager ready to advance into operations leadership.

The Operations Manager will oversee project execution, field operations, team performance, and profitability while working with leadership to strengthen processes, develop personnel, and support continued growth. Established systems are in place, with opportunities to improve operations and help shape the future team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily commercial roofing operations, project execution, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Foremen, and field personnel.
• Monitor job costing, project budgets, KPIs, and profitability.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Improve operational processes, workflows, and cross-departmental communication.
• Partner with leadership, Sales, and Estimating to support project execution and growth.
• Participate in hiring and developing future Foremen and Project Managers.
• Maintain quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial roofing project management or operations experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects, field teams, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, job costing, and project financials.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills.
• Ability to step into active projects while improving operational performance.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal roofing, or spray foam roofing.
• Experience with P&L management, operational KPIs, and process improvement.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Base salary: $115,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
• Performance bonus: Estimated at 10%–20% of base salary, based on KPIs and company profitability
