Scandinavian Building Services Inc. is looking to add an Operations Manager to the Scandi Family in Tampa Bay, Florida.

You will be responsible for managing large cleaning crews of up to 100 staff for major accounts in the event/hospitality industry during events. Your role includes acting as the main point of contact for cleaning crews and clients during events, assisting with janitorial needs during downtime, and overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth event execution.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Account Management: Building strong relationships with clients and store managers, addressing complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
2. People Management: Handling personnel issues for hourly cleaners, including scheduling, hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service, communication skills, foresight, and planning abilities.
• Leadership skills to foster team collaboration and handle high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule, including potential overnight or late shifts.
• Willingness to learn about the cleaning industry.
