Job Description - Business Operations Manager (0033198)

Location: United States (Remote)

The Business Operations Manager will serve as a key liaison between the Business Operations Function and the assigned Brand/Specialty, fostering collaboration and driving operational excellence. This role is crucial in aligning business objectives with operational strategies, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Making an Impact
Strategic Alignment:
  • Collaborate with assigned business leaders to understand their goals and objectives, and align operational strategies accordingly.
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across different business units and within Business Operations Engines.
  • Work collaboratively with teams such as Talent Operations, Client Operations, and Service and Order to Cash for seamless integration of operations with overall business strategies.
Operational Planning and Support:
  • Assist in the development of operational plans that support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to operational teams, helping them navigate challenges and achieve performance targets.
Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze operational performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with analytics and internal reporting teams to develop and implement data-driven insights.
Change Management:
  • Facilitate the implementation of operational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business activities.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting a positive and adaptive culture within the operations department.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Communicate regularly with business leaders to provide updates on operational initiatives, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with reporting/analytics teams to prepare and present comprehensive reports highlighting key operational achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details

Your typical day will involve collaborating with the assigned brand/specialty leadership team to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and execute operational priorities. You will partner closely with the Business Operations leadership team across all pillars to align business needs with the operating model, focusing on talent and client experience.

Qualifications
Required:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of progressive operations (or related) experience
  • Proven success as a business partner
  • Experience in developing and executing operational strategies
  • Strong data and analytical capabilities
Nice to Have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
