Program Summary
The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Logistics Integration Support (LIS) Secondary Repairable (SECREP) Program supports the repair and distribution of 10,000 pieces of Marine Corps Ground Equipment. The scope of this contract covers the Remanufacture, Overhaul, and Repair (ROR) and/or tear-down and evaluation (TD&E) of Marine Corps Ground Equipment Secondary Repairable (SECREP) items turned in at designated Government locations (CONUS and OCONUS).

Position Summary
The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure program processes are followed and the government customer receives high-level support. The OM collaborates with the PM and other personnel to implement initiatives and process improvements.

Please Note: This is a remote opportunity with travel to project sites as needed, including but not limited to: Albany, GA / Camp Lejeune, NC / Camp Pendleton, CA / Barstow, CA / Okinawa, Japan / Kaneohe Bay, HI / Blount Island, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the IT Support Manager and Site Leads.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous process improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with MCLC leadership and maintain transparency.
  • Monitor and analyze software platform data to enhance efficiencies and readiness.
  • Maintain relationships with OEMs and Vendors, ensuring warranty issues are addressed.
  • Manage Contractor Turnaround Time (KTAT) to meet standards.
  • Ensure compliance and quality control for the program.
  • Support sub-contractors with guidance and resources.
  • Directly responsible for productivity, quality assurance, inventory management, MRO strategies, supply chain, inventory levels, and accountability for GFP.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including Program/Project Management with leadership.
  • Competencies include administration, quality control, Microsoft Suite proficiency, military ground equipment knowledge, maintenance programs, supply chain management, critical and strategic thinking.
  • Effective communication with Marine Corps senior officers and executives.
  • Ability to obtain or currently possess a USG NACI clearance; may require SECRET clearance for access to PII, maintained throughout the contract.

Preferred Skills

  • B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a Marine Corps Logistics Officer, Warrant Officer, or Senior NCO.
  • Experience managing the USMC LIS SECREP Program.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar.
